Training:

We offer basic training for hunting dogs. Our process starts with establishing a firm foundation of obedience: Sit, Stay, Heal, and Here. once the dog has his/her basic obedience we go into hunting training, which for a pointing lab consists of two parts retriever raining and pointing training. The retriever side of the training consists of: Steady the shot, retrieve to hand, and developing the ability for longer retrieves and multiple retrieves. There is a lot that goes into steady the shot and retrieving to hand but in short they will be able to pass a junior hunt test with the AKC. The other side of training is the pointing; we train with live birds and teach the dogs to point, sit or stay after the bird is flushed (steady to wing), and steady to shot, and to retrieve to hand.

Boarding:
We do offer Boarding. Our kennels are located outside but are pretty nice kennels. as part of boarding we walk, and work on any training you may be currently doing, for example if your going on vacation and you are in the middle of force fetch we can continue the process. $25 per day.
